HW group further expands the Perseus platform with the first monitoring device from the Energy family - Perseus Energy 240.
The Perseus Energy 240 LAN gateway is ideal for connecting third-party RS-485 (Modbus/RTU) sensors to an existing remote monitoring site. Perseus Energy 240 can analyze and send the data to any of the SensDesk Technology-based Portals.
Third-party sensors can be connected via RS-485 (Modbus/RTU) or as LAN devices via the Meters API (SNMP, Modbus/TCP, MQTT).
Using the RS-485 (Modbus/RTU) as data input (Meters API) and Modbus/TCP as output (Open API), the Perseus Energy 240 can be used as a gateway from physical Modbus/RTU (RS485) to Modbus/TCP (LAN). Measured data can be analyzed, connected to the Portal and used in any third party SCADA or SNMP based NMS system.
Perseus Energy 240 can be used as a Modbus RTU2TCP (RTU to TCP) gateway or as a Modbus/RTU to MQTT or SNMP converter.
Perseus Energy 240 combines data from external physical sensors / detectors connected via Modbus/RTU with data from other HWg devices connected via LAN. Local conditions, Lua scripting, calendar or periodic scheduler help to analyze the measured data.
The alert situation can be sent from the device as standalone alerts (Email) or analyzed & alerted from the Portal (SensDesk Technology) with Graphs, Virtual sensors, Device Invalid alerts, PDF reports or Portal account Open API (SNMP / XML). Perseus device can also individually share all measured values via the Open API (SNMP, MQTT, Modbus/TCP, XML, ...)
Additional Perseus Energy units will be released later this year.
