Dear HW group friends,

we are now launching a series of newsletters describing the new interesting improvements in the Poseidon2 and Damocles2 product lines (Damocles2 will be launched in a couple of weeks).

We hope you and your customers will appreciate the improvements we've made.

New features:

• Unified firmware for Poseidon2 and Damocles2 – common functions for both devices. Identical web interface and graphics, easier orientation, reverse compatibility
• Unified MIB and XML for both devices – easier implementation into 3^rd party systems. (it´s not necessary to make changes in the SNMP settings in case of adding a new Poseidon2 or Damocles2 device).
• Virtual outputs
  It´s possible to control the Damocles2 outputs from Poseidon2 and vice versa (Box2Box), the communication goes over the TCP/IP protocol. All functions, conditions and characters of physical outputs can be applied.
• The binary inputs names can now be up to 32 characters long
• Support of HTTPS
  Improved encryption for the WWW interface, custom certificates possible.
• New "Security" tab where you can find security functions and manage the HTTPS certificates.
• The possibility of controlling the outputs in the "Manual" mode from the SensDesk portal (over the PUSH protocol).
  The reaction on the output change from SensDesk is about 60s.
• Support of IPV6 protocol
• Support of MQTT protocol for IoT
