Creating New user account on Sensdesk portal

If you already have a user account created on the SensDesk portal, skip this chapter to Adding new device (mentioned before)

To create a New account, open your portal SensDesk web page and at the top right side of page click on link Create new account.

Fill in required data. E-mail address must be unique on Portal. Two or more accounts with the same mail address are not allowed.

After account creation you will receive welcome mail and you will be logged in to your default Portal Team Dashboard. If you want to show your devices credentials, click on user icon and select My Team.

Adding new Ethernet or Wifi device to your account

To set up a Wifi device, connect and first set it up via an Ethernet connection.

1.Connect device to Ethernet network and set it up (see chapters "First steps" in device manual).

   2. As a next step, open web page of device on Portal tab. Check the "Portal enable" in section Portal Config, fill in fields Team and Team password with your credentials (Portal - My Team) and save. Click on Manual Push button and device will connect to Portal and add to your account.

3. To open a device on the Portal, click the link in the Portal message section.

4. If the maximum allowed device for the account is exceeded, this error will appear in the portal message.

Adding new GSM device to your account

1. Connect device to computer with USB cable, open device Ares (recognized as external disc). Start program ARESCONF.exe located in main folder.
   
2. Switch to Advanced mode by clicking button Advanced mode (located at the top right of the window).
   
3. On the Portal tab, check the "Portal enable", fill in fields Team and Team password with your credentials (Portal - My Team) and save. Click on Manual Push button and device will connect to Portal and add to your account.
   

Adding new NarrowBand (NB) device to your account on Sensdesk portal

1. Attach the external antenna
2. Connect 1-Wire sensors (NB-2x1Wire only)
3. Insert NarrowBand SIM card
4. With a slight force, pull out the insulating strip that insulates the battery from the contacts
5. Connect the external power supply and wait until the device connects to the operator’s network (i.e. until the blue LED turns off). Depending on the network and device configuration, this can take up to 20 minutes (when the device is first connected to an operator’s network, including in a new country or region). During this time, do not disconnect external power to avoid battery drain.
6. Open the SensDesk.com portal, log in to your account and and click on button Adopt SD/NB DEVICE (situated on the middle top of pages), fill Device Hash – you can find it on the label of device (1234-5678). An alternate device add is possible, a hash is also available directly under your Team account details.
    
7. Save will be confirmed
8. Short press of Setup button on device will initiate communication with Portal, configure device and add it to your account on selected Portal.
    

Adding new NarrowBand (NB) device to your account on foreign portal

First, the device must be put into operation, please see the chapter "Setting up the device" in device manual. Following steps are similar to the manual:

1. Attach the external antenna
2. Connect 1-Wire sensors (NB-2x1Wire only)
3. Insert NarrowBand SIM card
4. With a slight force, pull out the insulating strip that insulates the battery from the contacts
5. Connect the external power supply and wait until the device connects to the operator’s network (i.e. until the blue LED turns off). Depending on the network and device configuration, this can take up to 20 minutes (when the device is first connected to an operator’s network, including in a new country or region). During this time, do not disconnect external power to avoid battery drain.
6. Open the SensDesk.com portal and click on button SET SD/NB DEVICE (situated on the middle top of homepage), fill in fields Team and Team password with your credentials, select Portal where is your account present and Device Hash – you can find it on the label of device (1234-5678).
   An alternate device add is possible, a hash is also available directly under your Team account details.
