The SensDesk portal collects and visualizes measurements from HW group devices, such as Poseidon2, Damocles2, HWg-PWR, Ares (including LTE versions), SD-devices or NB-devices. In addition to basic functions, such as providing a concise overview of the states and current readings of detectors and sensors, graphs showing the history of the readings are also available. Graphs in SensDesk can be also used for additional analyses.

The 2-channel pulse adaptor PadPuls M2 allows the use of up to 2 meters with pulse output as M -Bus slaves. The customer runs a network of dozens of retail stores. The mother company pays all operating costs, including the energy/utility bills. In the light of increasing energy prices, the customer started to look for ways of reducing the energy costs.

The SensDesk portal can send alarm messages and perform operations such as switching outputs based on readings retrieved from HW group devices. The new Actions module allows to manage the corresponding settings from one place. Actions can now be defined on sensors, inputs, outputs, as well as devices. So, a loss of communication does not need to be inferred from a sensor state anymore but it can be indicated with a specific message.

The M1 a.k.a. Monitor one is a monitoring software for Windows that works with SNMP-enabled devices. We recommend to check the SensDesk portal and reset the ARES device connection. This step can be processed remotely by procedure, using following SMS messages. HWg-SMS-GW3 is a SMS gateway for sending text message alarms over a LAN. HWg-SMS-GW3 is primarily intended for use with HW group products and software. However, its communication interfaces are sufficiently documented for use with third-party systems. This Application Note shows how to use HWg-SMS-GW3 in such third-party systems.

Factory default reset is used for the following reasons: when a password is forgotten, the IP access filter is blocking access to the device interface or if a customer wants to have the device in factory default after tests or for sale to the customer.
